After two awesome posts by Prathima and Priyanka, there is not much to write about Lalbagh flower show. But on the base line, I will say everyone should see it, specially for children and one who has interest in nature.

Beautiful shots !!!
Thank you Madam.
Well done on the shots…and just because the subject is beautiful does not mean the photographer will capture that!
I love the fact that flowers there have different names than they do here in the USA…how fun to know that our “petunia” is your “sultan’s blossom” and you “china rose” is our “hibiscus”! And it seems cosmos is cosmos, no matter hwere is grows!!! Lovely post, great pick for Freshly Pressed!!!! AmberLena
ps our weather has been too dry to produce the normal flowery show we get in the Mid-Western US. Thanks for the visit to “your gardens!”

The word Lalbagh attracted me to this post/blog; grew up running around there every weekend. Never miss a chance to ask the dell tech helps in Banglore how does Lalbagh and Cabbon Bagh look. Was disappointed to know Vidhan Sauda is closed to people now.
China rose= Hibiscus (known as Gangura in Telagu the green leaves are pickeled)
Sultan’s Balsam= Petunia
Show specials= Gerbera daisy
Nameless yellow flowers= actual yellow lilies.

great photos 🙂 I adore flowers :)))
Thank you Ramazan. Glad u liked it.
I looked at all of these, and it is amazing to me how photographers and painters sometimes would pick the exact same shot to photograph or paint, same angle, same distance even sometimes. Maybe there really IS an invisible magic energy in the world that we all see….but can’t see.
Amazing shots Vaibhav! Congratz on being featured on freshly pressed!
Best time to visit Lalbagh!
