Kanwar Lake – Bird report

Blog is not related to Bangalore. Just writing it for Nature Lover. Kanwar lake (Villages says Kabar Lake) is the largest freshwater lake of India. My 3 weeks back visit stun me. Birding period was very small. I did 1.5 hrs of birding only. Some of the snaps from the lake.

A visit to Jayamangali Blackbuck Reserve

My prime intention to visit this place is for birding. But didn’t able to find much here. Lovely grassland for blackbuck. It is fun to watch the fastest animal of our country.

Enjoy some of the shots.

Birding report – T G Halli

2 weeks before, I went T G Halli. Water level is too high. Complete family of river tern and Egret are making the view more majestic. Some interesting finds –

1. Around 200 River terns – After a raptor attack, they left most of their child near an egret. Child seems to be very comfortable with Egret.

2. White wagtail.

3. Skyes Lark.

4. No Kestrel.

Please enjoy some of the pictures. Do write your comments.

Valley School – A trip on weekday

It was when Chandu came to my home and we decided to go our favorite birding place – Valley School. We did a very small period of birding. But lot of sounds here and there. I guess, we need to have a trip soon :).

Please enjoy the pictures, which is very few in number.
