Agara kere aka Agara Lake is a silent(in modern day, silent places are called unsafe place) place. One side its a medium size lake and other side its a farmland. The combination attracts most of the birds.

This was my second birding trip to Agara lake but I think place has lot to offer. Enjoy some of the birding around the lake. For location, please see our /place section.

Alright bird season is picking up and in that the team has decided to visit Valley School again. But just before the valley school, we met one more troop of birders and we decided to move little further and to go “Gulakamale Village”, a beautiful lake surrounded with lot of tree, farmland and wow no. of birds.

First of all, thanks to Geetanjali for showing us the path of one more treasure near Bangalore. Anekal Lake is a big lake and almost every variety of water bird is available at its edge.

Hoping to see a Post by Sushil soon.

First of all, when we reached we had the same expression .. oh same water birds, but I guess this lake give a better chance to explore water birds despite of the fact that water level was quite less.

Here goes some kingfishers, except white throated kingfisher, water is must for other two.

And finally the bird of prey, a majestic black kite in flight. There was lot of “Birds of Prey” every time I saw from my lens to upside, I wished to have other than black kite but .. .. ..
